Every morning 9 to 5,
Sometimes got me wonderin why I'm even alive.
Can't seem to get anything right, not even in the slight.
Cheated on, rinsed and repeated on.
I don't even know what to do anymore.
I'm at a loss for words.
Most days just consist of just sitting around smoking and watching the birds.
Tormented by the nightmares of what should've been.
Now it's only what could've been.
It's too late.
Deals sealed with the hand of fate.
If only there was a God who could see,
What is happening inside of me.
The slow decay of this suffering soul.
The ground beneath my feet only gets deeper within this hole.
With no one to pull me out,
The fire inside me is slowly burning out.
No will or desire to try anymore.
The hopes I've held so high have only ever ended up falling to the floor.
Couldn't save anyone else,
Can't even seem to save myself.
What a hell of a wasted life.
